Clevis PinComprising one of three parts in a clevis fastener system, clevis pins absorb lateral stress and rotate to allow freedom of movement for supported objects. Clevis pins are found in land, sea, and air vehicles, agricultural machinery, and construction applications.Lynch PinLynch pins are often used to keep a wheel in place on its axis. These pins may be found in agricultural settings, and like hitch pins, are used to secure vehicle trailers.Hairpin Cotter PinHairpin Cotter Pins, often referred to as hitch pin clips, R-clips, or R-keys, secure the ends of hitch pins by being inserted into a hole at the end of the hitch pin to eliminate the chance of the pin falling out. These are most often found securing pins in wheels, axles, rotary machines and trailer hitches.Cotter PinCotter pins, also called split pins, are equipped with two tines that bend during application. Flange Nuts have flat and serrated designs designed to act as an integrated, non- spinning washer, eliminating the need for a separate washer. Serrated flange nuts are fabricated with a built in serrated washer that resist loosening due to vibration.Flange nuts have a washer-like base to distribute pressure over a greater surface area and ensure the fastener stay tight. They are commonly used in manufacturing assembly lines where operations are speeded by using a single fastener instead of a nut and washer.

Slotted nuts, also known as castellated nuts, have grooved heads that align with holes in the mated bolt to accept the insertion of a cotter pin, locking the nut in place. They are commonly used to ensure that shaft components in certain automotive assemblies do not separate or to maintain machine settings in manufacturing environments.Slotted Hex Nuts have opposed slots cut into the top of the hex nut through the center of flats. Slots are cut into the non-bearing surface of the nut. Used for general purpose fastening and locking, slotted hex nuts can be used with cotter pins or safety wire through the slots and through the hole drilled shank of the fastener.
