Clevis Pin

Comprising one of three parts in a clevis fastener system, clevis pins absorb lateral stress and rotate to allow freedom of movement for supported objects. Clevis pins are found in land, sea, and air vehicles, agricultural machinery, and construction applications.

Lynch Pin

Lynch pins are often used to keep a wheel in place on its axis. These pins may be found in agricultural settings, and like hitch pins, are used to secure vehicle trailers.

Hairpin Cotter Pin

Hairpin Cotter Pins, often referred to as hitch pin clips, R-clips, or R-keys, secure the ends of hitch pins by being inserted into a hole at the end of the hitch pin to eliminate the chance of the pin falling out. These are most often found securing pins in wheels, axles, rotary machines and trailer hitches.

Cotter Pin

Cotter pins, also called split pins, are equipped with two tines that bend during application. These metal fasteners lock in place during installation when the two ends of the cotter pin are bent apart, and are meant for temporary use.
